Hazing & HIB Support

Who are the hazing and HIB workshops designed for?

They are built for student-athletes, coaches, athletic directors, guidance counselors, and school administrators. Each session is tailored to the audience so the message lands with the people who need to hear it most.

Are the workshops compliant with state anti-harassment requirements?

Yes. Every workshop is designed to satisfy state-mandated anti-harassment, intimidation, and bullying requirements while keeping students engaged rather than checking a box.

How long is a typical workshop?

Most sessions run 60 to 90 minutes depending on the group size and depth of interaction requested. Multi-session series can be arranged for schools that want sustained culture work.

What makes these different from a standard school assembly?

These are interactive, not performative. Students discuss real scenarios, practice intervention language, and leave with tools they can use immediately — not just a list of rules.

The Process

How does consulting start?

It starts with a free consultation. We talk through where you are, where you want to go, and whether the fit is right. From there, Mike builds a plan specific to your situation.

What happens in the first one-on-one session?

The first session is an honest assessment of academics, athletics, goals, and constraints. Families leave with a clearer picture of realistic next steps and a short list of actions to take.

Do you work with individuals or entire programs?

Both. One-on-one sessions support individual families. Webinars, workshops, and program consulting serve teams, guidance departments, and full athletic departments.

Timelines

When should a student-athlete start working with you?

Ideally during freshman or sophomore year, but it's never too late to get clarity. Earlier starts allow more time to shape academics, recruiting exposure, and financial aid strategy.

How far in advance should schools book a workshop?

Two to four weeks is typical. Earlier booking is recommended for multi-session series or dates near the start of a sports season.

How long does a typical engagement last?

One-on-one sessions are booked as needed. Program consulting and workshop series are scoped by the project, from a single visit to a full semester of support.

What to Expect

What should families bring to a session?

Transcripts, test scores, a rough list of schools or sports goals, and questions. The more specific you are, the more tailored the guidance will be.

Are sessions in person or virtual?

One-on-one sessions and webinars are typically virtual. Workshops and program consulting are usually in person, with flexibility based on location and need.

What outcomes can we expect?

Clarity, a written plan, and confidence in the next step. For schools, that means stronger culture and compliance. For families, it means decisions grounded in facts rather than pressure.
